How to remove and refit the harmonic balancer and hub in the Diesel engine on 1987 Mercedes-Benz 190E?

There is no vibration damper in 4-cylinder engines and only 1 piece crankshaft pulley/damper in 5-cylinder engines. In order to eliminate it, disconnect battery, remove radiator, drivebelt, and unscrew bolts. To refit, follow the instructions in reverse, with the correct amount of torque and alignment, and a holding tool where necessary.
