How to remove and refit of the Hood Latch on 1993 Mercedes-Benz 190E?

In order to detach the hood latch, one releases the locking stud, removes the cover, and, depending on the model, relocates the fan by unscrewing. Disattach the release cable, loosen the retaining bolts of the hood latch and reattach in that sequence. Tighten or slack the bottom mounting bolt and re-fit the strut.
