How to remove and replace the blower motor and electronic control unit on 2002 Mercedes-Benz C320?

Unplug the negative battery and unscrew the lower dash trim to get at the blower motor. Unplug the wiring harness, scrape out mounting screws and very carefully rip out the motor with the electronic control unit. Disassemble the control unit, and reassemble everything making sure to check upon the operation of the blower afterwards.
