How to remove and install the brake light switches on 2006 Mercedes-Benz C280?

In 2002 and subsequent vehicles that do not have a brake light switch, fit ESP components. Get out the lower instrument panel insulator, find the brake light switch over by the brake pedal arm and unscrew it. Re-set plunger, re-fit switch, re-connect electrical connector to give the brake lights.
