How to disconnect and remove the clutch release bearing from the transmission on 2007 Mercedes-Benz C350?

Unhook the negative terminal on the battery. Get the clip out of the line that attaches to the clutch fluid to the clutch release cylinder, have rags and a plug on hand in case of a leak of fluid. Eliminate the transmission, and disconnect any requisite clips and electrical connections. Lastly, take off the release cylinder and install back in the same order.
