First, schedule an appointment and sign an agreement with a properly outfitted shop where an air conditioner system can be depressurized. Don't connect the negative cable of the battery then taking off the compressor drivebelt. Lift the front of the vehicle and place on jack stand-ups. Disconnect the bracket attachment to the compressor, and the air conditioning hoses by lifting the engine undercarriage and observing that on an automatic transmission vehicle the fluid lines alongside the compressor will probably be required to be disconnection to ensure sufficient working clearance. Take out the holding bolts, remove the compressor off the engine. To install attach the reversed sequence of the steps performed to remove the part and tighten the drivebelt tension accordingly. Last but not the least, recharge the system and test its functionality.
