How should you maintain the Antenna, Door Hinge, Door Lock, Hood Hinge and Hood Latch in the Diesel engine on Mercedes-Benz 190E?

Lubricate the hinges of the bonnet, doors, and tailgate with a light general-purpose oil, and also lubricate all latches, locks, and lock strikers while checking the security and operation of all locks, adjusting them if necessary. Lightly lubricate the bonnet release mechanism and cable with a suitable grease. If an electric aerial is fitted, extend the aerial, remove all traces of dirt from its mast, lubricate the mast with a light general-purpose oil, and then retract the aerial. For models with a sunroof, slide the roof fully back, clean the sunroof guide rails, apply a smear of fresh multi-purpose grease to the rails, and close the sunroof.
