When the wiper blade elements are broken, damaged, or deformed or can no longer clean appropriately then it must be substituted by others. To remove the wiper blade assembly, raise the arm assembly off the glass first, lift the release lever and pull wiper blade assembly out of the hook at the end of the arm. Then fit the new wiper to the arm with a corresponding clicking sound.
