To replace exterior lights, start with the front side marker light bulbs by carefully prying the bulb housing out of the bumper cover using a trim stick, twisting the bulb socket to remove it, and then pulling the bulb out. For front parking light bulbs, open the hood, access the low beam bulb cover, and pull the parking light bulb holder out; remove the old bulb and install a new one by pushing it straight into the socket. For front turn signal lights, open the hood, twist the bulb socket counterclockwise to remove it, press the bulb into its socket, and turn it clockwise to secure it. Fog lights require working inside the front bumper to remove the bulb holder and unplug the electrical connector, as the bulb and holder are a single assembly. The center high-mounted brake light involves opening the trunk, removing the trim, and disengaging the retaining clips to access the assembly, which is a one-piece unit. For license plate light bulbs, remove the screws to take the lamp out, replace the bulb, and secure the lens. Taillight bulbs require opening the trunk, twisting the plastic latch to detach the bulb carrier, and replacing the old bulb. Interior lights include dome light bulbs, which can be accessed by prying off the lens, removing the old bulb, and installing a new one. Map light bulbs are removed by twisting them counterclockwise after taking out the overhead switch assembly. For the glove compartment light, open the compartment, pry the lens down, and replace the bulb. Replacement of illuminated door sills is recommended to be performed by a dealer service department or qualified shop.
