How to the remove and refit of the distributor and distributor rotor components on 1992 Mercedes-Benz 190E?

In order to eliminate the distributor, unclip the plastic cover, record the firing order, and de-plug HT leads. Take out distributor cap, rotor arm and follower. Install the components in the reverse order making them fit appropriately and ensuring they have the correct torque. None of the ignition timing adjustment is required after removal.
