  • Q: How to remove and refit an Ignition Lock Cylinder and Ignition Switch on 1993 Mercedes-Benz 190E?
    A: In order to take out the lock cylinder, pry the trim panel, insert the ignition key, and turn to position I. Detents are compacted with U-shaped wire and the lock barrel is pulled out. To refit, make sure that there is proper alignment and working. Unscrew the battery to take out the switch assembly, and repeat the steps on replacing.
