How to remove and install a tie rod end on the front on 2007 Mercedes-Benz C230?

In order to detach the tie-rod end, loosen the wheel bolts, hoist up the vehicle and place it on jackstands. Take off the wheel and then loosen the tie-rod end jam nut and record its position. Unscrew the tie-rod end, fix it where necessary, and screw everything back in taking care of the torque and alignment.
