To work on the right-hand front direction indicator lamp, disconnect the wiring on the washer reservoir level sensor, unscrew the large plastic cap nut, and slightly move the reservoir for access. Next, disconnect the wiring at the rear of the bulbholder, unscrew the knurled retaining nut, and pull the lamp out forward. For the headlamp unit, first remove the front direction indicator lamp, then disconnect the vacuum hose and wiring multi-plug at the rear of the lamp unit. Undo the inner end retaining bolt and slide the finishing strip outer end toward the center of the car to remove it. Next, undo the two upper retaining bolts and the single lower bolt, then withdraw the unit from its location. When refitting, ensure the lower retaining lug engages with the slot in the bodywork before fitting the lower retaining screw, initially tightening the mountings finger-tight and making any necessary adjustments before securely tightening them. For the rear lamp cluster, access it from inside the luggage compartment by turning the two lock catches to the left and withdrawing the bulb carrier. Disconnect the wiring multi-plug and undo the six lamp cluster retaining nuts, then depress the two catches to remove the unit from outside the car. Refitting follows the reverse order of removal.
