To change the charcoal canister, first park the vehicle on a flat area and apply the parking brake then jack up the front and remove the front left-hand road wheel. Lift from the mounting studs the nuts next and lift down the liner away, out of the inside of the left-hand wheelarch. Remove the three screws fastening the charcoal canister mounting bracket to the left-hand wing panel, but do not entirely remove them because the holes are elongated. Disneathen the lower hose to the canister, then manage the canister plus the mounting bracket out under the wheelarch, where there are other hoses then loosening the last hose fully before desatellting the canister completely. To refit, repeat the following procedure, making sure the screws at the brackets of the canister fit the holes of the wing panel correctly.
