    A:
Remove the striker by unscrewing two screws and prying out the studs. Press out the light and disconnect the plug. Pull the glove box from the instrument panel and remove the cross-head screws from the glove box. Unscrew the slotted nuts that retain the lid hinge. Turn the lock pin on the outer edge of the glove box to the vertical position, withdraw it, and disconnect the stop bracket; if the lock pin cannot be removed, turn it through 180°. Lift the inner lid and withdraw the outer lid, then withdraw the inner lid and stop bracket. If necessary, the lock may be removed by compressing the cams with pliers, noting that the top face of the lock is marked 'OBEN.' Installation follows the reverse order of removal.
