To remove the condenser, first have the refrigerant discharged and recycled by an air conditioning technician. Disconnect the cable from the negative terminal of the battery and drain the cooling system. For early models with the receiver/drier mounted inside the condenser, remove the receiver/drier from the condenser. Disconnect the condenser line and discharge line from the condenser.
