Raise the hood all the way up to the upright position, loosen the front wheel lug nuts, lift the vehicle then half supporting the wheel by jackstands. Everything that is covered by the inner fender splash shield should be removed by taking away the forward part and the main part of the wheel housing splash shield. Then unscrew the connecting bracket bolt, take out the bracket. Loosen the top few bolts of the underbody that hold paneling, and knock out the trim model on the sill of the door. Unconnect the clips and push or loosen the underbody panel to a point that allows the fender nuts to be removed at the bottom rear of the fender. Removal of fender mounting bolts on the upper side and upper rear corner opens a door to complete cleaning of the bolt on the upper rear corner. Unattach the fender and make sure an assistant aids in pushing it off the vehicle to avoid any damage to the body panels around the vehicle. A removal is the opposite of an installation, and in the case of installing a new fender, the plastic liner should be removed in order to install the new gasket.
