How to remove and refit the door lock and central locking solenoid on 1993 Mercedes-Benz 190E?

In order to take out the handle on the front door exterior, remove it and undo the inner handle rod. To lock the central lock, take off the retaining clip, plastic water deflector and unplug the wiring. The door lock and the solenoid have undo screws, lower and remove them. Refit backwards making sure the water deflector is in the right place.
