How to remove and install the Center Link on Mercedes-Benz 300TD?

Lift the front of the car and hold it firm using jackstands, and remove the wheel at the side where the track rod is being taken out. Take out the retaining cotter pins and nuts and then apply an appropriate separator tool, which can be used to loosen the track rod ends into the arms as the tool will be required to perform the disconnection. During the removal of the drag link, disconnect steering damper with a point of reference of washers and covers. The process of installation is in the reverse process of removal and the front wheel alignment should be checked after that.
