Dismantle The door trim panel, end mark the location of the inside door remote control handle and remove the screws holding the handle to the door, then disconnect the control rods and raise the handle out of the door. Then take out the exterior door handle and the screws that hold the door lock in, and pull out the part of the lock down through the hole in the door. Install the door lock and attach the screws retaining it and tighten them. The second part of the installation procedure is the reverse of the unloading procedure, attaching the remote handle and ensuring a zero degree of play by ensuring that the screws pass through the correct hole and then tighten them.
