How to remove and install the trunk lid latch on Mercedes-Benz 300TD?

Firstly, turn the trunk lid up and then unlock the trunk lid massage using nuts and washers. Then peel the plastic cover out of the interior of the rear panel. Then unscrew the retaining bolt and take the lower part of the lock out through an opening on the cover, loosening the links in the central locking system along the way. To install, follow the steps in reverse process taking care that the striker clips the lock into place.
