The first step to get the intake manifold out is to relieve the fuel system pressure. Unscrew the cable off the negative end of the battery and unscrew the engine cover your engine has. Then remove air intake duct and air filter housing (where fitted). Unattach the PCV hose, vacuum hoses and electrical connectors fixed on the intake manifold and throttle body, and unattach the throttle body electronic throttle control system connector. Unscrew the two bolts that hold the fuel rail to the intake manifold, then use a lot of caution in lifting the injectors up and out. Then loosen the intake manifold bolts and extract the intake manifold and gasket, which requires some of the clamps on the engine wiring harness to be removed. Installment- To install, clean and scrutinize intake manifold to
Cylinder Head sealing surfaces, and exam whether the gasket is damaged and must be ordered separately in case of damage. Install the intake manifold with the gasket positioned at all cylinder head dowel locations, and screw the manifold bolts to the correct frag. Lastly, fit the fuel rail and injectors to the manifold and then, fit the last part of the installation in the reverse order of removal. After all is reassembled, start the engine and test to see that there are none of the following leaks: fuel, vacuum, and coolant.
