To remove the door inner trim panel, first open the window until the guide member of the regulator guide rail is accessible through the aperture in the top center of the door panel. For cars with electric windows, disconnect the wiring plug connection and release the two wires for the window lift motor. Next, remove the locking clip that secures the window glass to the guide member of the regulator guide rail, then undo the two regulator retaining bolts for manual windows or the three regulator nuts for electric windows.
