These models have multiple types of engine and transmission mounts as well as shock absorbers that reduce chassis vibrations caused by the diesel engine. Engine mounts and shock absorbers could be changed without having to remove the engine/transmission. Visually inspect the state of the rubber mounts by bending a bar to it to determine whether it is hard, split or no longer connected to the backing metal, liquid leakage means damaged seals and shock absorber replacement.
